Simpler heart device could mean fewer wires, fewer problems

NCT ID NCT07406737

Summary

This study is creating a registry to track patients who receive a new type of heart device wire. The new wire is designed to help coordinate the heartbeat in people with heart failure, potentially using fewer wires inside the heart than current devices. Researchers will follow 200 patients to see if this simpler approach works well and is safe compared to standard treatments.
