New Heart-Zapping device aims to control dangerous irregular heartbeat

NCT ID NCT06696170

Summary

This study is testing a new medical device called the CellFX Nano-PFA 360 Catheter for treating atrial fibrillation (AFib), a common irregular heartbeat. The device uses brief electrical pulses to create scar tissue in the heart to block the faulty electrical signals causing AFib. The main goals are to see if the procedure is safe and if it can successfully isolate the problem areas in the heart to control the arrhythmia. Researchers will follow 60 participants for up to a year after their procedure.
