Can a new hearing device outperform its predecessor?
NCT ID NCT07156461
Summary
This study tested whether a new hearing aid processor (Osia 3) works better than the previous model (Osia 2) for adults with certain types of hearing loss. Twenty-nine participants who already had a compatible bone-conduction implant wore both devices and took hearing tests. Researchers measured how well people could understand speech in quiet and noisy environments with each processor.
