New Triple-Threat treatment trial launches for tough head and neck cancers

Summary

This early-stage study is testing whether adding a new experimental drug (BI 770371) to standard immunotherapy treatments helps shrink tumors in people with advanced head and neck cancer that has spread or returned. The trial will enroll 90 adults and randomly assign them to one of three treatment groups to compare different drug combinations. The main goal is to see if the new combinations are safe and can make tumors shrink.
