Gentler gum surgery tested to save teeth from bone loss
NCT ID NCT03997578
Summary
This study is testing a modified, less invasive gum surgery technique combined with tissue grafting materials to treat advanced gum disease (periodontitis). It aims to see if this approach can better reduce deep gum pockets, rebuild lost bone support, and improve gum appearance around teeth. The trial will compare this new method to standard treatments in 40 patients with specific types of bone loss.
