Summary
This study tested a new type of eyeglass lens designed to slow down the progression of nearsightedness (myopia) in children. It compared the new 'partition multi-point defocus' lenses against another modern lens type to see if they work equally well. The goal was to find a safe and effective way to control worsening eyesight in kids aged 8 to 13.
