New glasses aim to halt Kids' worsening eyesight

NCT ID NCT06647160

Summary

This study is testing whether a new type of eyeglass lens can slow down the progression of nearsightedness in children. It will compare these special lenses against regular glasses in 200 Chinese children aged 8-11 over two years. Researchers will measure changes in the children's eye prescriptions and eye length to see which lenses work better at controlling myopia.
