Revolutionary eye scanner aims for perfect vision after cataract surgery
NCT ID NCT07325162
Summary
This study is testing a new eye scanner called the Helioscope that takes detailed measurements of the eye. The goal is to help surgeons calculate the perfect power for artificial lenses implanted during cataract surgery. Researchers need to test the device on 100 people with cataracts to make sure it works accurately even when the eye's natural lens is cloudy.
