New eye scanner aims for perfect vision after cataract surgery

NCT ID NCT07325162

Summary

This study is testing a new eye measurement device called the Helioscope. The device is designed to take detailed measurements of the eye to help surgeons plan cataract surgery more accurately. Researchers are enrolling 100 people with cataracts to see if the device works well in eyes with cloudy lenses. The goal is to improve the selection of replacement lenses so patients see clearly after surgery.
