NCT ID NCT07373197

Summary

This small study tested a new surgical technique to correct a condition where the eyes turn outward (exotropia). Surgeons performed a procedure called 'lateral rectus muscle strangulation' on 12 patients over 4 years old. The goal was to weaken a specific eye muscle to help align the eyes, and patients were followed for up to 6 months to see the results.
