New drug trial aims to shrink bulging eyes in thyroid disease

Summary

This study is testing whether a new injection called MHB018A can safely reduce eye bulging and other symptoms in people with long-term, moderate-to-severe Thyroid Eye Disease. About 150 participants will receive either the real injection or a placebo dummy shot every four weeks for six months. The main goal is to see if the treatment can significantly reduce eye bulging by week 24 compared to the placebo.
