New drug trial aims to shrink bulging eyes in thyroid disease

Summary

This study is testing whether an experimental injection called MHB018A can reduce eye bulging and inflammation in people with active, moderate-to-severe thyroid eye disease. About 108 participants will receive either the drug or a placebo injection every four weeks for six months. Researchers will measure changes in eye appearance, double vision, and quality of life to see if the treatment is effective and safe.
