New Two-Handed tool aims to improve colon polyp removal
NCT ID NCT07146165
Summary
This study is testing a new medical device called EndoTEM that helps doctors remove polyps from the lower colon. The device allows for two-handed control during the procedure, which researchers hope will make removal more complete and safer. The study will enroll 30 adults with large polyps that need removal, and will check if the device successfully removes the entire polyp and causes few complications.
