Sharper vision inside: can a new camera spot hidden cancer risk in IBD patients?
NCT ID NCT07271264
Summary
This study is testing a new type of camera for colonoscopies called TXI. It aims to see if this enhanced imaging helps doctors find early signs of cancer (dysplasia) better than the standard camera in people with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) who are having routine check-ups. About 219 adult patients will have their colonoscopy done with both the new and standard camera to compare which one finds more concerning areas.
