Brain scan breakthrough could spot epilepsy faster

NCT ID NCT07470931

Summary

This study tested whether a new computer analysis of routine brain wave recordings (EEG) can help doctors tell if someone has epilepsy. Researchers compared brain wave patterns from 80 adults—some with epilepsy and some without—looking for tiny, fast brain signals that might indicate the condition. The goal was to see if this non-invasive approach could become a useful tool for epilepsy diagnosis.
