Glowing dye could prevent surgical accidents
NCT ID NCT07080008
Summary
This early-stage study is testing a new fluorescent dye called Lumitrace. It aims to help surgeons see the ureters (tubes from kidneys to bladder) more clearly during minimally invasive abdominal surgery. The goal is to see if this dye is safe and useful for preventing accidental damage to these delicate tubes during operations.
