Breakthrough drug trial aims to stop Post-Surgery breathing emergencies
NCT ID NCT06137638
Summary
This study is testing whether a new drug called ENA-001 can prevent breathing problems that sometimes occur after major surgery. The trial will involve 200 adults having elective surgery who will receive either the drug or a placebo through an IV. Researchers will measure how well the drug helps maintain normal breathing patterns after patients wake up from anesthesia.
