New hope for Tough-to-Treat esophageal cancer

Summary
This study is testing whether a new drug called QLC5508 works better than standard chemotherapy for people with advanced esophageal cancer that has continued to grow despite previous treatments. It will involve 466 adults whose cancer has spread and who have already tried platinum-based therapy and immunotherapy. The main goal is to see if QLC5508 helps people live longer compared to chemotherapy chosen by their doctor.
