Can this pill stop the weight and cholesterol rebound after popular obesity drugs?
NCT ID NCT06640972
Summary
This study tested whether a new drug called RDX-002 could help control high blood fats (triglycerides) and body weight in adults who recently stopped taking powerful weight-loss medications like semaglutide or tirzepatide. For 12 weeks, 68 participants took either RDX-002 or a placebo pill twice daily. Researchers compared the two groups to see if RDX-002 was better at lowering triglycerides after a fatty meal and preventing weight regain.
