Breakthrough pill could keep cancer treatments on track
NCT ID NCT07286032
Summary
This study is testing whether hetrombopag tablets can help cancer patients maintain safe platelet levels during chemotherapy. Researchers want to see if this medication allows patients to complete their chemotherapy cycles without dangerous drops in platelets that often cause treatment delays. The trial will compare the drug against a placebo in 150 adults with solid tumors who are experiencing chemotherapy-induced low platelet counts.
