New hope for easing Chemo's worst side effect

NCT ID NCT06554184

Summary

This large, completed study tested whether a new drug called HR20013 works better than a standard drug (palonosetron) at preventing nausea and vomiting in cancer patients receiving chemotherapy that has a moderate risk of causing these side effects. It involved 706 adults who were new to chemotherapy. The main goal was to see if patients had no vomiting and didn't need extra rescue medicine, especially in the days after treatment.
