New hope for Tough-to-Treat bile duct cancer

NCT ID NCT05874414

Summary

This study is testing whether a new drug called GNS561 works better when combined with an existing drug, trametinib, for people with advanced bile duct cancer that has a specific genetic change (KRAS mutation) and has stopped responding to standard chemotherapy. The main goals are to find a safe dose and see if the combination can shrink tumors. It is for adults whose cancer has progressed after one or two prior treatments.
