NCT ID NCT07267156
First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 20 times
Summary
This study compares a new custom-made 3D-printed toe spacer to the standard gauze spacer used after bunion surgery. The goal is to see if the custom spacer is more comfortable and helps keep the big toe properly aligned during healing. About 40 adults having bunion surgery will be randomly assigned to receive either the new spacer or the standard one. Participants will be followed for 5 weeks to check comfort, pain, skin irritation, and toe alignment.
