New bandage trial aims to heal stubborn diabetic foot sores faster

Summary
This study is testing whether adding a special wound dressing called Xcell Amnio Matrix to standard care helps heal diabetic foot ulcers better than standard care alone. Researchers will enroll 135 adults with a qualifying foot ulcer to see if the new treatment leads to more complete wound closures over 12 weeks. Participants will receive weekly applications of the study treatment or standard care only.
