New diabetes pill trial seeks better blood sugar control

Summary
This study is testing whether a new medication called CX11 can help people with type 2 diabetes who haven't reached good blood sugar control with their current medications. About 240 participants will be randomly assigned to receive different doses of CX11 or a placebo pill for 24 weeks, while continuing their usual diabetes medications. Researchers will measure changes in blood sugar levels, weight, and safety to determine if CX11 is effective and well-tolerated.
