Summary
This study is comparing a new combination pill (henagliflozin + metformin) against the standard metformin pill for people recently diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. It aims to see if the new pill is better at lowering long-term blood sugar levels over 24 weeks. The trial will also check effects on weight, other health markers, and safety.
