New medical device promises more precise muscle monitoring during operations

NCT ID NCT07371377

Summary

This study is testing a new device that measures how relaxed patients' muscles are during surgery. Researchers want to see if this new device works better than the current standard equipment used in operating rooms. The study involves 50 patients who are having surgery requiring general anesthesia with muscle-relaxing medications. The goal is to improve how doctors monitor muscle relaxation to make anesthesia safer and more precise.
