Summary

This study compares a new endoscopic cutting device to the traditional scalpel for removing large tissue during laparoscopic hysterectomy. The new tool is designed to work through small incisions, reducing surgery time and the risk of spreading cancerous cells. About 84 women who need a hysterectomy for a uterus weighing 500 grams or more will take part.
