New device aims to make precancerous polyp removal safer and more complete

NCT ID NCT07263997

Summary

This study is testing a new medical device called SureTrac, which is designed to help doctors perform a specialized procedure to remove large, potentially precancerous growths (polyps) from the colon. The goal is to see if this tool makes it easier to remove these growths in one complete piece, which is important for accurate analysis and to lower the chance of them coming back. The study will involve 30 adult patients in France who have a colorectal lesion larger than 2 cm.
