New putty vs. old chemical: the battle for Kids' smiles

NCT ID NCT07437794

Summary

This study aims to find out if a new, premixed dental putty (NeoPutty MTA) works as well as or better than a traditional chemical (formocresol) for treating deep cavities in children's baby molars. Children aged 4-9 with a specific deep cavity will have the procedure done with one of the two materials, then get a protective crown. Researchers will check for pain, infection, and other problems over time to see which treatment is more successful.
