New dental liner aims to take the pain out of fillings

Summary
This study is testing a new dental product called Solventum™ Vitrebond™ Pulp Protect Liner/Base. It is designed to be placed under a filling to help protect the tooth's nerve and reduce pain and sensitivity after the procedure. Researchers will compare it to a similar, already available product to see if it works as well or better. The study will involve 160 people, aged 7 and older, who have a tooth with a moderate or deep cavity.
