New dental liner aims to shield nerves and stop pain after fillings

Summary
This study is testing a new dental product called Solventum™ Vitrebond™ Pulp Protect Liner/Base. It is designed to be placed under a filling to protect the sensitive inner part of the tooth (the pulp) and reduce pain after the procedure. Researchers will compare it to an existing product in about 160 people, aged 7 and older, who have a tooth with moderate to advanced decay. Participants will be followed for one year to check for sensitivity and tooth health.
