Could a new gadget make Kids' dental visits less scary?

NCT ID NCT07156032

Summary

This study aims to see if a new automatic injection device (Starpen) causes less pain than a standard syringe when numbing a child's mouth and pulling a baby tooth. Researchers will compare the two methods in about 38 children aged 6-8 who need a specific baby tooth removed. They will measure the children's pain during the numbing shot and the tooth removal using simple face charts and observation.
