Harvard tests Faster-Healing dental implants

NCT ID NCT06651502

Summary

This study is testing a new type of dental implant with a special surface coating designed to help bone heal faster and bond more strongly to the implant. Researchers will follow 30 patients with missing teeth for two years, placing these implants and immediately giving them temporary crowns. They'll use regular check-ups and X-rays to see how well the bone maintains around the implants over time.
