Computer vs. dentist: the fight for a Pain-Free shot

NCT ID NCT07198997

Summary

This study aims to see if a new computer-controlled device for numbing a child's jaw causes less pain and anxiety than the standard dentist-administered shot. It will involve 100 healthy children, aged 6 to 9, who need dental work on both sides of their lower jaw. Researchers will measure the children's heart rate and behavior during the shots to compare which method is more comfortable.
