New scanner aims for sharper, safer bone images
NCT ID NCT06281808
Summary
This study aims to see if a newer type of CT scanner produces better quality images and more accurate diagnoses than the standard scanners currently in use. It will involve 200 adults who are already scheduled for a CT scan of their arm or leg. Researchers will compare the images from both scanner types to see which one helps doctors make better diagnoses for conditions like injuries, arthritis, and gout.
