Penn tests new scanner to sharpen cancer treatment images
NCT ID NCT06056063
Summary
This study is testing whether a new type of CT scanner can produce better images for planning radiation therapy for cancer. Researchers will compare images from the new scanner to those from current standard machines to see if they are clearer and easier for doctors to use. The goal is to improve the accuracy of radiation treatment planning, not to test a new treatment itself.
