New cream trial targets precancerous sun spots
NCT ID NCT07340697
Summary
This study is testing a new cream called RLS-1496 for treating actinic keratosis, which are rough, scaly skin spots caused by sun damage. About 24 adults will apply the cream to spots on one forearm daily for 28 days, while the other arm gets no treatment for comparison. The main goals are to see if the cream is safe and if it can reduce or clear the sun spots.
