New booster shot tested against current vaccine
NCT ID NCT06181292
Summary
This study tested a new COVID-19 booster vaccine to see if it was as safe and effective as an already approved booster shot. It involved 913 adults who had already received their primary COVID-19 vaccinations and at least one booster. Researchers compared the new vaccine's safety and the immune response it triggered against the existing Comirnaty Omicron XBB.1.5 vaccine.
