New test aims to spot coronaviruses faster

Summary

This study is evaluating a new diagnostic test designed to detect multiple coronaviruses, including the one that causes COVID-19. Researchers will use leftover nasal swab samples from about 1,500 people who were tested for a respiratory infection. The main goal is to see how accurate this new test is compared to existing methods.
