New Pre-Surgery combo aims to wipe out esophageal cancer cells

Summary
This study is testing a new combination of immunotherapy and chemotherapy drugs given before surgery for a type of esophageal cancer. The goal is to see if this pre-surgery treatment can completely eliminate cancer cells in the removed tumor and improve long-term results. It will enroll 22 patients with operable esophageal squamous cell carcinoma to evaluate safety and effectiveness.
