Three-Pronged attack tested for Tough-to-Treat liver tumors

NCT ID NCT06071052

Summary

This study tested a combination of three treatments for people with colorectal cancer that had spread to the liver and was no longer responding to standard chemotherapy. The goal was to see if using a targeted drug (regorafenib) along with two minimally invasive procedures that deliver chemotherapy directly to the liver could better control the cancer and help patients live longer. The study involved 21 patients who had already tried and failed other treatments.
