New cancer drug combo trial aims to slow tumor growth better than current standard

Summary
This study is testing whether adding a new drug called ivonescimab to standard chemotherapy works better than the current standard combination for people with advanced colorectal cancer that hasn't spread to the liver. Researchers will compare how long each treatment keeps the cancer from getting worse in about 130 participants who've already tried one previous treatment. Patients will receive treatment every two weeks and have regular checkups and scans to monitor their progress and quality of life.
