New hope for advanced colon cancer patients in clinical trial

NCT ID NCT05959356

Summary

This study compares two different drug combinations for people with advanced colorectal cancer that has spread and cannot be surgically removed. Researchers want to see if adding a newer immunotherapy drug (envafolimab) to standard chemotherapy and targeted therapy helps control the cancer longer. The trial will enroll 198 adults with specific tumor characteristics who haven't received previous treatment for their advanced cancer.
