New drug combo aims to shrink tough colon tumors before surgery
NCT ID NCT07468630
Summary
This study is testing if adding a new drug called tolecizumab to standard pre-surgery treatment can better shrink tumors in patients with locally advanced colon cancer. About 106 patients will be randomly assigned to receive either the new combination or the standard treatment alone. The main goal is to see if more patients achieve a complete disappearance of cancer cells in their surgical tissue.
