Researchers seek better way to predict colon cancer outcomes

NCT ID NCT07380464

Summary

This study looked at 1500 colon cancer patients to see if a new way of classifying lymph node spread could better predict survival. Researchers analyzed patient records to compare their new classification system against the current standard method. The goal was to help doctors more accurately determine which patients need more aggressive treatment after surgery.
