New scan could sharpen the picture for colon cancer patients

Summary
This study is testing a new type of PET/CT scan to see if it can better detect when colon cancer has spread to lymph nodes or other organs. It will compare this new scan to current standard imaging methods. The goal is to see if the new scan is more accurate at finding cancer spread, both when first diagnosed and when it might have come back.
