New shot aims to zap bad cholesterol

NCT ID NCT07473960

Summary

This study is testing a new injectable drug called IBI306 to see if it safely lowers 'bad' LDL cholesterol in adults with high cholesterol and mixed lipid levels. About 198 participants will be randomly assigned to receive either the real drug or a placebo (dummy) injection for 12 weeks. The main goal is to measure how much the drug reduces LDL cholesterol compared to the placebo.
