New chickenpox shot for kids enters final testing phase

NCT ID NCT07415252

Summary

This study aims to test the safety and immune response of a new chickenpox vaccine called NBP608 in children. About 780 healthy children aged 1 to 12 years will receive either the new vaccine or an already approved chickenpox vaccine. Researchers will compare how well the new vaccine triggers the body's protective defenses against the virus and monitor for any side effects over about 15 months.
