New High-Tech scope aims to spot cervical problems better than standard exam

NCT ID NCT07508072

Summary

This study aims to see if a new high-definition magnifying endoscope with special imaging technology is better at finding cervical and vaginal lesions than the current standard colposcopy exam. It will involve 270 women aged 18-65 who need a colposcopy due to abnormal Pap or HPV test results. Researchers will compare how accurate each method is at detecting problems.
